can i use all purpose miracle grow or miracid miracle grow on the hemlocks

Tsuga (Hemlock) likes an acid to slightly alkaline soil, so I would recommend using a half strength solution of Miracid Miracle Grow.  If the plants begin to look a bit yellowish after a while, you can then make the strength of the fertilizer higher, until you find the ideal strength to keep the plants happy and healthy.
