Your Arborvitae may grow an average of about 1 foot per year and the Sky Pencil (Japanese Holly) an average of 9 inches per year.

Please bear in mind, though, that much will depend on the location, soil and climatic conditions that the plants will be subjected to.  They may grow more or even less that the average!
