when we bought our house last year, there was a trumpet vine growing against the house. we thought we dug it all out, but it keeps growing back and multiplying. how do we get rid of this problem plant?

If you leave the smallest piece of root in the soil it will keep coming back - it is very difficult to control.

You could try using a weed kill based on glysophate, which kills plants right down to the roots.

With this gel you have to let the plant grow a while and then actually wipe it onto the foliage with a gloved hand - protect other plants by covering them with some plastic sheeting.
