looking for Alexandria rose

Question
Hello -

I have never planted roses before, but I would like to plant an Alexandria rose in memory of our daughter.  Could you tell me how I would go about finding this rose and whether it would grow in my city (Los Angeles - San Fernando Valley)?  I think it is a relatively new rose, and no local nursery has it in their catalog.

Thank you for any help you could provide.

-Tom

Answer
You are right in that this is a very new rose. Alexandria's Rose was bred by Michael Williams in the States. It is a very attractive rose pink miniature rose that grows to about 24 inches tall. It will do fine in your area as the information on it says no colder than zone 6 and that would be much colder than your area.
Here is the web site of the king of miniature roses. If anyone has any knowledge where this rose can be found, it is this man.
