yellow foliage on double knockout rose

Question
I planted double knockout roses about two weeks ago I noticed some of the foliage especialy inside that is yellow but i dont see any sort of spots

Answer
If the roses have just been planted, the yellow leaves are probably due to the stress of transplanting. Roses really hate to be disturbed. Where you got them from would have a different atmosphere than your garden. If that isn't the problem then usually yellow leaves are caused by too much watering or not enough. Take a trowel and scoop down to about 6 inches and see if the soil is damp. If it is only wet on the top of the soil, then give them a really good soaking. Don't do it every day just one big one. If they are very wet, then don't water until you know they are dry.
