Question
I am a novice at best when it comes to growing.  I am wondering what would be the best perinnials to grow in the St. Louis area?  I have a few Climatis' some Hastas I had a Passion Fruit vine that was gorgeous but winter got it.  I was wondering if you can take cuttings off of the Climatis' also and exactly how you go about doing that.

Thanx for your question. Kansas City here so we are kind of brothers no?  I would like to put you in touch with the Master Gardners in St. Louis  County.  They can give you some incredible advice.  I'm associated with Kansas State University Agricultural Extension Service which includes the Kansas City area.  May I refer you to the Missouri State Extension Service?  Clematis, Hostas will do fine in St. Louis.  Some passifloras (the Latin name) are not hardy to Missouri.  I hope this helps and let me know if I may refer you to the MU Extension Service.
