Question
I have had a calla lily planted for about 5 years now and it has only bloomed one time. It is very healthy,under an oak tree getting dappled light. Also, I have the tuberose "The Pearl" and the past two seasons they have failed to bloom. They are in full sun,healthy foliage yet no blooms. Help!

Hi Sandra,
Thanx for your questions.  Are the plants in pots or in the ground?  Either way, give them some bone meal.  Are you using any fertilizer that is high in nitrogen?  That will cause all green growth and few if any blooms.  Try the bone meal.  I hope this helps.
