Question
I recently bought an asian lily which I did not plant into the ground yet.  The pot it was in fell over and the stalk broke off.  Should I still plant what's left and what should I do with the stalk that has broken off which contains one flower and several bulbs.

Hi Shellie,
Thanx for your question.  I would go ahead and plant the bulbs now and let nature take its course.  It may or may not send up new growth but I think it will have survived and come back next year.  Throw the broken stalk away.  I hope this helps.
