Question
Are the leaves or flowers poisonous to animals?
I live in Illinois and got one for a house plant. My cat is very sick and I'm trying to rule out all possibility for  her illness.

I'm afraid that all parts of all lilies are poisonous to cats in particular.  If you suspect that your pet has eaten any of the plant you should take it to a Vet as soon as possible - if you haven't already done so.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  I do hope your pet recovers.
