Ground Covers and/or Grasses for Flagstone Joints

Question
I recently laid some flagstone over Dallas, TX soil in my backyard. I'm trying to find a grass or ground cover that can fill the joints. I've considered sand or granite but my dogs will track that in. I figure some sort of vegetation would be the best option...ex. bermuda or bent grass. What ground cover, hybrid, or type of grass would you recommend that would be heat tolerant, traffic tolerant, and low growing?
Also, image number 14/22 in the link below has a picture of a type of ground cover. Would you happen to know the name of it?

Answer
Hi Miguel,
Thanx for your question.  The plant in the picture you asked after is a type of sedum.  There are hundreds of types of sedums.  Most sedums don't do well being continually walked upon.  They do grow well in between rocks, in walls, in rock gardens, planters, etc.  They make a good ground cover as long as you're not continually walking on them.

Here is a company that specializes in ground covers.  You might get some ideas from this company and they sell all over the U.S.

High Country gardens sells ground covers for dryer, warmer climates.  I've used this company before and find them to have quality products.

I hope this helps.
