Question
I have a white mold developing on the surface of my orchid medium.  This is the second blooming - I have never repotted it.  Should I do so while it is blooming?

Hello Helen,

Unless the orchid is in dire trouble healthwise, it would be best to wait until after it has finished blooming.  Until then, reduce watering by allowing the potting media to become almost dry before watering again.
