Red leaves on my phaleanopsis

Question
My plant is flowering well at the moment (Southern summer.
It is on a coffee table beside a sunny window.   I am worried about the leaves as they are completely edged with red.  It is 2 years old and up until now has always had pure green leaves.   Some of the nodes on the stems are also turning red.   Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks G.

Answer
Hello Gwynneth,

Many phalaenopsis when grown in very bright light will show some redness in the leaves and stems.  This can happen especially with phalaenopsis with flowers that have some red in them.  To reduce the redness, move them away from the bright light and into bright shade.

Hope this has helped.

Forgive me for taking so long to respond to your question, I forgot to tell the system that I was going away for a few days.
