Can I re root my orchids cutting in water ?

Kelly, orchids can not be rooted as cuttings as can other houseplants.  Also, just because orchids have healthy roots does not assure that the growing points that produce leaves will do so.  One could say that, with orchids, roots are a necessary, but not sufficient, condition for growth.
