Question
Do you know where an eggplant can be purchased?  I have seen such a plant.  It is a houseplant and has a seed pod that looks and feels exactly like a small egg.

Ornamental white eggplant seed can be purchased at the sites below. It is not usually grown as a houseplant. It is a tropical perennial plant and is a sister plant to the big purple eggplants that you buy at the grocery store.  It can be grown in a pot and needs to stay warm all winter. It does need full sun not just bright light all day long if at all possible. If you live in a tropical location it will grow year around for you. If not you neeed to duplicate the tropics to grow this in your home. Lots of light, regular house temps,  let it dry out between waterings so the roots can breath, and a fan blowing in the room would be good. They will sprout easily from seed. Grow 1 per 8 inch pot.
