plant for dark bathroom

Question
I would love to put a  plant in my bathroom but it has no windows all of my plants are used to light is there any plant I can put in there that can survive. i am sure even if i buy one it will come from somewhere that has given it lots of light & i am afraid it would die in the dark bathroom I have LOTS of plants already but not sure what they are all called.can you give me some common house hold plants that would survive in there?

Answer
Hi Renee,

All plants (mushrooms excepted) require at least some light in order to survive. If your bathroom has no natural light, then it would need a fluorescent light to be on for at least 8 hours per day for there to be enough light for a low-light plant to survive.

The best low-light plants that are small enough for a bathroom are a Pothos (devil's ivy), Philodendron, Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema), ZZ Plant, and parlor palm. But all of these require the light that I have described above.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
