African Violets and nats

Question
I have many African Violets in my office at my workstation and suddently there are tiny nats everywhere and I think their nesting in the plants.  I'm actually killing some of them as they land on the counter but they seems to be multiplying faster than I can kill them.

How do I rid the plants of them?

Answer
Mix one capfull of Murphy's Oil Soap per gallon of water.  Use this once a week for two weeks as a soil drench.  The oil smothers the larvae.  It will take a couple of weeks for them to be gone but it will work.  Hang in there I have done this myself...it takes some time but they will be gone.

Happy growing
