Lyrata Leaves Reddening

Question
Hi,
I've got something interesting happening to my ficus lyrata. The leaves facing the sun, and in fact only the sides of the leaves facing the sun, are turning red. It is quite pretty, but I've noticed that on the bottom-most leaf the red is becoming a bit more brown, which seems not good. Do you have any idea what this condition is, is it bad, and if so, is there some way to remedy it? I find it very interesting.
Thanks,
Seth

Answer
Seth,

The leaves of this plant naturally turn red in the sun during the winter months. If they turn brown it is sunburn from getting a bit too much sun. You may want to move it to a different location where it will not get as much sun. Good luck.
