Question
I have a rather tall bamboo plant in soil. Should I transfer it to a vase with water. I water it about every two weeks. Also, can I slip the tallest branch, it is almost as high as small tree?

If you are sure that this is a "Lucky Bamboo" then yes you can wash the soil off and put it in water. If you are not sure email me a picture and I will ID it for you. You can email it to [email protected]

Yes you can use the tallest shoot as a cutting and root it in water.  Good luck.
