norfolk pines

Question
I want to move my Norfolk pine to the garage for the winter and am not sure if it will survive in an unheated environment. The water heater is in the garage and the temperature never gets below 40 degrees. Is that too cold for the plant?

Answer
Hi Richard,

40 degrees F. should not be a problem for your Norfolk Pine. Make sure that it gets enough light and water as needed, not by calendar.

I have written a detailed article on Norfolk Island Pine care that I will email for free to you (or anyone else) who emails a request to me at [email protected]. I have also written an indoor plant care book in a PDF format that I can sell you if you contact me at my email address.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
