Question
Hi Julian-
I am new to gardening, and am wondering what I can use to keep bugs from eating my herbs.  Apparently they like basil as much as I do!

You may try some bad tasting insecticides. I tblsp. hot sauce, and vinegar to 1 quart of water and add 1 teasp. of dishwashing liquid to help it stick to plant. Spray every 2 weeks or as needed. Spray before the sun comes up or after it goes down. Test spray a few leaves and wait to see if it burns the leaves. If so dilute with more water. Slugs and worms are the worst enemies.
