storage of fresh dill

Question
I have just finished canning pickles. I have left over fresh dill. Is there a way to store or freeze until next year? I don't want to throw it out. Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi and thanks for mailing me!

First option you have is to put the dill in plastic baggies into the freezer, but I am not sure if it will keep all year long. If you can use it sooner, perhaps this idea is suitable. Also, you can dry it out completely and keep in an airtight jar but it won't last as long as putting it in the freezer. Good luck in storing your dill Mary Ann!
