my oregano is turning yellow

Question
i just recently started growing a few herbs.  rosemary, thyme and oregano i bought as seedlings/small plants, the rest i'm growing from seeds.  the rosemary and thyme seem to be doing great, but my oregano is turning yellow and isn't really growing like the other 2.  i'm in san diego and they get mid-morning to late-afternoon sun.  i water them about once every other day or so.  they're all in the same clay pot (the kind that has like 6 little cups off the side.  they've been in the same pot for about a month and i have refrained from fertilizing them.  do you think that could be it?  what else could it be?  thanks for your help.

Answer
Joshua:
Those pots are cute, but not for growing herbs well. The oregano is aggressive and will take all the growing room from anybody. Water is only needed about once a week. If it has been fertilized, it may have used all up in its' area and could be water logged to turn yellow. Hold the water and pruned back 1/3 of each branch to stimulate new growth. Use a liquid fish fertilizer from home depot/lowe's. Rosemary and thyme also hate too much water. They also should get the earliest morning sun. Try to go to larger pots before their root systems get too big.
