Caring for Rosemary in Texas

Question
I was given a rosemary bush this past Christmas. It has done very well so far but I want to know how to care for it long term. Currently it is indoors on the south side of the house.

Answer
Todd:
The rosemary is finicky indoors at times. Too much water, not enough water, water too late etc. But you have it in a good location, don't move it until spring whenit should go out doors. Move to a larger pot or plant in the ground. If is called "Arp", from Arp, Texas, It is hardy down to -10. If so place, outdoors in same location. If colder than that, keep indoors until spring. Lightly water every 3 weeks. Do not soak it. Start pruning it from the top down 1/3 off each branch when new growth starts. Feed organic fertilizer like liquid fish from Home depot/lowe's. No fertilizer during the winter.
Mail back in spring for more tips.
