Pot Sizes

Question
I have 2 medium sized (4 inch pot) Sarracenia Leucophyllas that I want to combine into one pot. Is a 6 inch pot big enough to support them both or are they going to fight each other for space? If it's the latter, what size pot should comfortably support them and for how long? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Andrew,

This species grows a bit slowly, so a 6-inch pot will do just fine for the growing season.  However, to be on the safe side, use an 8-inch pot or larger.  This will give your plants a bit more insulation to deal with the winter, and it will also mean you won't need to repot next season.

Good growing!
