Answer
Hi Matt,

These butterworts look like Pinguicula primuliflora, and they are looking good.  What your doing now is fine.  Try to keep them damp, but not excessively wet.  They are very prone to rotting out.  This plant is a zone 8 plant and can be grown outdoors in milder climates.  We have several outside here in Oregon, and they have survive freezes down into the low 20's.  I've found they do best in large pots (it helps to moderate the water).  Use standard cp mix of equal parts peat to perlite or sand.  They can do ok as windowsill plant also.  If you move them outside, provide some shade.

Under the best conditions, this plant can be short-lived.  We've had the best results with them when they are in big pots such as whiskey barrels, mini-bog gardens etc... partially shaded by Sarracenia.  In small pots they just tend to rot out too easily.

Good Growing!
