What type of sand would you recommend using in a bog garden or does it really matter?

Hi Jennifer,

The most practical sand to use is washed play sand.  It's made for kids sand boxes, has been washed, and is inexpensive.  Many home improvement stores carry it.  White silica sand is excellent also, but it's harder to find, and can be quite expensive.  Just avoid builders sand or anything that might have limestone in it.
