Darlingtonia in Rock Planter

Question
At one of your open houses last year, I purchased a Darlingtonia that was potted in the hollow of a lava rock.  I have recently re-potted my other carnivorous plants but am not sure what to do with this one.  Should I re-pot it or leave it alone?  I have yet to grow Darlingtonia successfully, but this one seems to have survived the winter mostly intact; some leaves have turned brown, but not all.  Should I set the rock in a deep tray so that it is almost fully submerged? or only partially?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Robert,

There's no need to repot it unless you absolutely feel it needs to be repotted.  We have a Darlingtonia growing in a rock for nearly 5 years.  As always, set the rock only in a small amount of water.  Never submerge it.  The water level should go no higher than half way up the rock.

Good growing!
