Drosera adelae leaf burning

Question
I live in  southern california and have a drosera adelae for sev wks. it was in my bathroom and and maybe received less than sev hrs sunlight.  I took it outside and put it in the full sun and the leaves turned brown and wilted. I think it got burned. There are a few green areas centrally. Is it too late to save it ?  What should I do ? should I cut the leaves off?
Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Felix,

Sounds like you bought one of the cube plants from a store.  Just cut all the leaves off right to the soil.  Place the pot in a bright window sitting in a tray of distilled water.  Give it about 3 weeks.  You should see lots of new little shoots forming that will have nice healthy, dew on them.  Don't move the plant around.  Just leave it in one spot and give it time.

Drosera adelae is one of those exceptions when it comes to sundews for lighting.  They prefer it a little shadier than most of its cousins.  You definitely wouldn't want this one outside in full sun.

Good Growing!
