is this enough sunlight

Question
Hi is 2-3 hours of direct sunlight enough or to much sunlight for a lance leaf sundew?

Answer

Drosera adelae
If by "lance leaf sundew" you mean a Drosera adelae, I will have to state at the beginning that I'm not a sundew expert (Venus Flytraps are my primary specialty), but in my experience Drosera adelae seems to like subdued light, perhaps bright indirect light, and perhaps early morning or late afternoon sunlight, but not midday sun.

However, in very humid climates, Drosera adelae might be tolerant of more direct sunlight.

I would recommend asking this question of sundew growers who are members of online carnivorous plant forums such as the CPUK Forum and the FlytrapCare Forum--

I've attached a photo of one of my Drosera adelae plants growing in only dappled sunlight.

Best wishes,
Steve
