SuperThrive

Question
Hey guys,

After watching your 3rd DVD, I decided to purchase a bottle of SuperThrive from Amazon. In the video you only seemed to use it when repotting, but I was curious if I could use it just to give my plants a small boost. I assume it is safe to use in small amounts on most plants, but just in case it's not, I have two sundews, three pitchers, and a fly trap.

Answer
Hi Mat,

I've found Superthrive to be safe on all CP.  It can, however, encourage algae growth.  Watering with it can be beneficial for encouraging root development.  Nepenthes tend to be the plants that benefit from it the most.  I can also be helpful in transplanting most plants to overcome root disturbance.

Good Growing!
