Question
I was wondering if I can use any orchid bark brand for my Nepenthes and Heliamphora soil mix ? If they need to be specific brands, which are the brand I need to use ?

Hi Andre,

The brand doesn't matter all that much.  A good quality fir bark is usually best, but you just want one that has a nice even size.  We usually use a medium grade.  If you can't find fir bark other barks are fine, the just might break down a little faster.  Avoid actual wood chips.
