Question
about 2 weeks ago I took some leaf cuttings from my Florida giant dewthread and put the cuttings in a glass of distilled water with cling wrap on top like you guys told me and put it in a well lit (but not hot or full sun) window,I havnt seen very much progress so far, are these good conditions? also what should I do with the cuttings for this winter? should they be mature enough to overwinter outside or should I keep them warmer than my other temperate plants such as in my greenhouse? (my greenhouse is not heated but does stay about 15-20 degrees warmer than outside)

Hi Dillon,

Two weeks is just barely the point at which you might see little nubs beginning to form on the leaves.  A month is more realistic to see little plantlets forming.

Because the new plantlets will be very small and delicate, I would keep them someplace where they will get natural light and cool, but don't let them freeze.  If you can keep your greenhouse above freezing that is a good place.  You can decide where a good place is since I don't know what your options are.  Again, the important point is just to not let them freeze, but cool is good.
