Dear Jacob,

 It is getting sunnier and warmer in Cleveland Ohio, the temperature is also well over room temperature at daytime, and my windowsill light is getting dimmer, so I was just wondering if I could move my cape sundews outside to my patio and inside at night incase of frost. Thank you!

It might be safe now to move your sundew outdoors.  However, keep in mind that the outdoors represent a new challenge for your plant.  It will need time to acclimate to changing humidity, wind, and more intense sunlight.  Cape sundews also prefer mild temperatures, so they tend to grow better during winter than during summer.  You may see smaller leaves and less dew because of the harsher conditions, so growing Cape sundews outdoors in summer isn't something I recommend.

I recommend keeping your sundews indoors in a brightly lit windowsill that receives several hours of direct sunlight.  However, if you want to grow your plants outdoors, provide lots of morning sunlight.  Shelter them from the harsh afternoon sun and wind.
