My terrarium
Hey

So.. I got this dionaea ginormous and seems to have some black spot in the leaves but not in the traps has you can see in the picture. This plants are in 69 to 75 at night and during the day are in 78 to 87F. Plant are in my terrarium doing well. They are in air conditioner for air flow . Humidity are in 75 to 99%.  Im just worry that are fungus but I dont think so. You can see two leaves with the balckness around.

Thanks a lot my friends

Answer
Hi Gabriel,

That doesn't really look like fungus.  Most likely that is just an older leaf that is slowly declining.  It's just a natural part of the aging process on older leaves.

I would recommend that if this plant hasn't had any food in quite awhile, you give it a bug.  I'm finding that the giant flytrap forms seem to have high food demands.

Good Growing!
