Nepenthes Lighting*

Question
*I have another lighting question for you! Will a 23W 5000K bulb be sufficient for one nepenthes? (turned on for 6 hours)? If so, how close should it be?

Answer
Hi Eric,

That will work, but I would do 12 hours, and have the light roughly 6 inches from the plant.  You may need to adjust that based on how the plant is doing.  I would also go with a 6500K bulb (daylight).  It's a little better spectral output with more blue for vegetative growth.

Good Growing!
