cactus/succulent house plant

Question
Hi!  I am looking for a plant I had when I was younger.  It had oval type leaves; that were thick and waxy.  The stems of the plant were a tan color ( kind of like a stick ) It grew out and down, more like a vine.  The leaves were heavy and green.  It did not like any kind of cold weather.
Thanks for the help!

Answer
Good morning, Christine,

Perhaps the plant you are asking about is a Hoya, which is a tropical member of the Asclepiad (milkweed) Family. The most common is Hoya carnosa, but there are many other species.

A search on Google Images will no doubt bring you lots of pictures.

Kind regards and apologies for not responding sooner,

Jeff
