I'm curious if I can raise a dahlia tuber with trace amounts sulphur and or chlorine to prevent rot and avoid dusting labor.  Do you think that a dahlia could abosorh liquid sulphur and/or chlorine?  If so, are there ways of measuring the percentages of substance absortions?  I'm contemplating hydroponicing (sp?) some tubers and was wondering about the sulphur and chlorine thing.
