how do i get rid of a Bacterial Canker on my avocado.  There are 3-4 spots on the truck which are sunken in and black inside with white powdery residue covering the holes.

Hi Jennifer,

The only control that I know of for a bacterial issue is to allow the plant to have more air circulation, stop misting or spraying the area with water for bacteria need water to move and replicate,remove from a high humidity location and give the plant more sunlight if it is not in full sun already.
