Cycads


Question
We have 18 Cycads planted in huge ornamental clay/concrete pots that are at least 52" wide on top and it reduces to 39" at the base, we planted the cycads in these pots and the leaves are developing orange spots, the tips are also turning orange, not all leaves are getting the orange spots, can you please help me with some information on the cause of the desease.

Hi Felix, Cycads are getting a very serious disease that are killing them.  You can use a product called atomic grow that will put them back into health, clean the plant and help the roots grow.  You spray it on so it is easy to apply.  It is the only thing I know of that will help your cycad, organically or poison wise, there is no cure yet.   kathy
