Question
Do you know how to test for toxic waste in soil?  Also egglplants were minis froze for the winter and do you know if they can be saved, its all just throny and seems burnt from the stems and the leaves?

To test your soil, you can take some to your local extension office and they will know where to test it.  Or you can send it here:  http://www.al-labs-plains.com/index.html  

Doubt that your eggplants will survive...but wait until spring and see.  Only way to know is to wait and see if there is recovery, if not pull up and compost them.
