We seeded our new bare soil lawn 4 weeks ago and it is approx 1 inch long now, when is the best time to start cutting it? (we have a ride on mower.)

well if the lawn has been well watered and fertlized you shouild be able to start at your own will (when you feel its ready) im hopeing that you have put  down a light starter  fertlizer and allowed it to soak in if so start mowing but mow at a long height and avoind using a ride on if you can other wise becareful not to rip up the fresh grass
