Question
I have tomatoes, squash, strawberries, asparagus, and peppers growing in southern Oklahoma. Would it help to put sugar by them too?

Hi Loma;
If you are following an organic program, then putting sugar on EVERYTHING will help, because it will nourish the micro-organisms that enrich the soil.
That is sugar's only purpose, and by itslef has NO properties that benefit the soil. It is ONLY for feeding the microbes.
