I do want to caution you though that many of these all natural products that make pest control claims fail to pan out under controlled testing.  I haven't seen much about Horticultural Corn Meal but I have seen test result plots using corn gluten meal for crabgrass prevention.  They showed no control at all, yet I still see the product sold everywhere.

I applaud the effort to be environmentally friendly, but my approach is to make sure to plant naturally disease resistant varieties of the plants so you don't need synthetic pest control measures.  Since the organics often don't deliver, you are better off saving your money.  Just some food for thought!

If you've seen different test results for the Corn Meal, let me know where I can find them.   I hope somebody proves me wrong on this.  I'd like nothing better than to have reliable organic pest control alternatives.
