Question
I live in North Ala. and want to plant a slope to stop erosion . Is it too late to
plant Kentucky 31 now, Mid December, should I wait until March?

Answer
I'd recommend waiting til March. Tall Fescue tends to prefer warmer germination temperatures and 50's or 60's are a bit too cool. Wait until the foreseeable temperatures are going to be steadily above 70 degrees.
