Question
I didn't do my research and I put play sand on my lawn because the chemlawn guy told me I needed to sand my yard.  I didn't realize until after reading several articles that I should have use a special kind of sand. Have I damage my yard with this play sand?

The lawn should be fine, but the Chemlawn guy needs to explain a little better what he was having you do. Sand on the lawn? I know this is a common practice on golf course greens, but a home lawn?

Where do you live? Perhaps this is a practice more common to specific environmental conditions in an area of the country. I'd be curious to find out more.
