Question
I broadcast spread a bag of Penningtons Signature Weed and Feed 28-0-4. It was supposed to cover 15000 square feet, but I overlapped to much and covered only ~8000. Is this going to kill my grass? If so is there anything I can do to stop it?

Hi Michael,

Just water diligently and mow often! The lawn will likely be growing like gangbusters now with all that fertilizer. Some areas might die off, but the heavy watering should help to dilute it enough to minimize damage. Usually it takes about 3X to kill the lawn. All the extra mowing you will have to do should serve to help you be more careful next time. Just keep up the heavy watering for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
