Norfolk Island Pine

Question
I have a Norfolk island pine located in my back yard surrounded by a patio and two feet away from my house.
I'm worried that the roots might damage the house foundation and sidewalk. Should I remove it. It is about 15 ft tall right now.

Answer
Hello,

At fifteen feet tall, two feet is much too close to the house for this tree to be.  The root spread will be much larger than two feet.  If you want a tree close to your house consider planting trees that cities use for planting on sidewalks.  Good luck. Let me know if I can be of further help.
