We dont have alot of money either....so there is another problem. Any help would be appreciated

Answer
There is not much you can do that is creative to solve a functional drainage problem. However you could install a french drain system. Its a series of pipes with holes in them surrounded by gravel and filter fabric to keep form getting filled with silt. The pipes all connect to a drain lien that routes the water where you want it. All drains mist have a slope of 1% min. You can usually do a french drain system for between $500 and several thousand depending on how much you can do yourself.

See www.ndspro.com for parts to use.
google french drains to learn more details.
