Question
looking to add potted silk palm trees to put on and around deck to give privacy will entertaining. any suggestions where to purchase both the pots and the silk palm trees at a HUGE discount????? need them to be about 10-12' tall. (total pot and plant) and prob need about 8. i want to create an oasis of a wall of  greenery without the cost and maint of the REAl trees. we live in long island NY.

At one time, I used these for a commercial project (10 years ago), and they were available locally.  It is a different world, now and EVERYTHING is available with a quick google search, trip to nextag.com, or at amazon.com.  

Most, if not all, are going to be supplied from overseas sources, so the Internet is the quickest way to "cut out" the middleman.  

By the way, I'd also recommend you add mid- and low-level plants so as to not create a "streetlight" appearance.
