How can I raise the value of my home by "fixing" my yard? for example if I put the stuff around my flowers will that help the "curb appeal"? or add a bush or ?. What can I do to the yard to raise the value of my home? I would like to raise the value of the house and I was told the yard and garden needed some help but I really dont know what to do to it to make it look better. Can you please help me? I would appricate any and all the help that you can give me. Thanks Kelly

It is true that improving the landscape will increse the value of your home.  

The best advice I can give you is to contact a local garden center or landscaper.  If you want to do the work yourself hire these folks as a consultant for an hourly fee to provide suggestions for you. This is one service I provide here in central IL.
